S1 E14: Conflict over Jin Yangcheol's will intensifies. Minyeong investigates a murder case, while Dojun has to make a deal with a murderer to become Soonyang's chairman. In the end, Dojun chooses the shares. All that remains for Dojun is to become appointed as the CEO of Soonyang Financial Holdings.

The character of Do Jun had the saddest conclusion and it felt a forced way out for Soonyang which made the conclusion unsatisfactory. Had it not been for the ending, the drama definitely had the best output of its potential.

Reborn Rich received audience acclaim and became the second highest-rated series in Korean cable television history, with its final episode recording 26.9% nationwide ratings.

"Although 'Reborn Rich' is a fantasy, it seems like a period drama by featuring well-known events from modern Korean history," Gong Hee-jung, a drama critic, said. "It allows viewers to predict the plot and compare the scenes with the real events."

The hit Song Joong-ki vehicle Reborn Rich came to an explosive end on December 25, its final episode notching up the second highest ratings ever in South Korea for a cable series (behind only The World of the Married), but many viewers were left disgruntled.

THE SHORT VERDICT: For a good portion of its run, I found Reborn Rich to be an utterly engaging, absorbing rollercoaster of a ride. With fun twists and turns that I mostly didn't expect, and some excellent performances by our cast (Lee Sung Min is STELLAR in this!
