I talk about Zoom and Microsoft coexistence a lot. And for good reason. 99.86% of enterprises are Microsoft customers. I completely made that stat up, I really have no idea what the percentage is. But I rarely talk to a customer that says “Oh, we only use Google and Linux here”. That just doesn’t happen. Everyone uses Microsoft at an enterprise level. Zoom fully integrates with Microsoft Azure. We use Entra ID for identity and authentication. We use Enterprise Applications to store all those amazing Zoom apps. We use Graph API’s to apply permissions. Even Rich Profile information comes from Entra ID. Full video: https://lnkd.in/e_w9reUG

I’m 95% done writing my book. It’s a book on Zoom (shocking!). It is going to be the most in-depth how to book to date. I’ve literally covered almost every function and modality available in the Zoom client. With deep dives into not only how to use features, but why. I walk you through each and every workflow step by step. Even if you think you’re a Zoom Master, I bet you still won’t know some of the stuff you’ll learn in this book. I learned a ton just by writing it!It’s been a ton of work and I’m coming to the end. And the folks at Packt Publishing have been amazing to work with. 🙏

Been thinking about taking Tatooed Nerd in a different direction. I’ve certainly focused on Zoom a ton over the last 4 years but I get a ton of questions from customers that aren’t specific to just one vendor. Questions like:-“What’s the future of collaboration?” -“How do you view the industry of communication?” -“How can you improve presentation skills?”-“Best advice to be successful?”So I’m going to broaden up the messaging a little in the future to see if I can help even more.
