KENDRICK Lamar is set to perform a one-off concert in Los Angeles on Juneteenth - and tickets are already going quickly.

Ken & Friends – The Pop Out is set for June 19 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

Cash App Card owners had exclusive access to yesterday's presale on Ticketmaster - and over 60,000 fans piled into the queue to get tickets for the rare show.

Despite the thousands of fans in line, the Kia Forum can only hold about 18,000 concertgoers, leading fans to beg the rapper to change the venue to SoFi Stadium, which can hold 60,000 people.

"Can we pop out at SoFi instead? It’s not enough room in the Forum for the ticket demand," one fan petitioned on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"It shoulda be SoFi. 1) for the capacity and 2) for the “outside” feeling. It’s Juneteenth!" another agreed.

General sale opens Friday at 10 am PDT. You can buy tickets:

  • Ticketmaster — buyhere
  • VividSeats —buyhere
  • Live Nation —buyhere
  • StubHub —buyhere
  • SeatGeek — buyhere
  • Viagogo — buyhere

Before purchasing tickets on resale websites check pricing as they are third-party sellers and, importantly, the cost can vary depending on demand. You may pay more than an official ticket, though you can also get good last-minute deals too.

    Tips for buying tickets

    The U.S. Sun's top ticket-buying tips

Snagging tickets to one of your favorite artist's concert can be stressful.

To alleviate some of that stress, The U.S. Sun has compiled a set of top tips and strategies to enhance your prospects of securing those vital concert tickets:

    • Presales
      • Presale tickets give fans the opportunity to buy tickets before they are made available to the general public.
      • There are several methods to gain access to presale tickets. These include subscribing to an artist's mailing list or purchasing their latest album in order to get a specific presale code needed to access the sale.
      • Access may also be granted through network providers, such as Verizon, or even banks, like Chase or American Express, along with event organizers like Live Nation.
      • Event organizers like Live Nation typically notify subscribers about upcoming presales via email alerts.
      • Following artists on social media platforms is often the most effective way to stay informed about presale opportunities.
    • Queues
      • If you're unsuccessful within the first 3-4 minutes, your next best opportunity is around the 7-8 minute mark, as this is typically the duration for purchasing, with similar intervals thereafter.
      • Don't lose hope if it appears sold out initially. Ticket availability may fluctuate, possibly due to Ticketmaster releasing tickets in small batches or from failed purchases.
      • Familiarize yourself with the seating chart beforehand and decide on your preferred seats. Quick decision-making is crucial once you gain access.
      • If attending is your primary goal, aim for seats in the middle of a section rather than the best available. In the list view, choose seats further down, as many people tend to click on the first options they see.
      • Have any access codes copied to your clipboard for quick pasting rather than manual typing.
      • Ensure you've logged in ahead of time with a payment method set up in your account for quick and easy checkout
