Alexander SnowMassara, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. He offers a full range of primary care to people of all ages. His clinical interests are preventive care, chronic disease management, wilderness and outdoor medicine. From cryotherapy and skin biopsies, to pap smears and contraception placement or removal, Dr. SnowMassara provides a wide array of office procedures.
Away from work, he enjoys gardening with his wife, camping with family and friends, cooking and spending time with his children.

Dr Snowmassara is one of the best GP docs I've ever had. He is easy to talk to and listens carefully to my health concerns. He has recently made some referrals to specialists all whom which are just as professional as he. Over all very happy with the care I get with multi care docs.

The doctor was very explanative as to how I could have gotten strep, what I would be taking (penicillin), for how long, etc, and what measures to take during the treatment so that it doesn't "come back" in some way. An example was the doctor saying I needed to get a new toothbrush 4 or 5 days on the meds, because I could reacquire strep from my old one if I used it when I no longer had strep.

Provider gave no explanation as to the condition nor proposed treatment during the initial visit, nor in the week following the visit. Review of results for tests ordered during the visit have also been delayed in response, giving the impression that a sense of urgency is seriously lacking.

Dr. SnowMassara is a fine PCP, but I do not feel much connection to him compared to my previous PCP, Dr. Khan. I have seen Dr.SnowMassara a few times in the past 1.5 years and most of the time I feel he is going through the motions. At my appointment previous to this one the technician even ask me why are you visiting us today as they were not sure. I said via MyChart, I did not need the visit but Dr. SnowMassara said I needed to see him. Weird. I may look for another PCP in the future.
